batteries are fine, it is charged, no worries as far as the power. could it have been going through security x-rays? thanks

More likely it got a knock that dislodged something than xrays doing anything.

Take it to a repair shop.

The European power supply is 220v and in the USA it is 110v. Check if there is a way to select the lower supply on the box. If not you will have to talk to the supplier for an adapter alternative.

When you charged it, did you charge it with US or European charger? Makes a difference, different voltages and all. May have popped the battery opr something. Or maybe your computer is broken.
i don't think the x-ray could have done it. Perhaps the hardware crashed...
