Why does my computer keep freezing?

in the past week its freezing mainly when im in my yahoo mail. then closes out everything and wants me to send report. just got new trend micro security before it started acting up. ran system checks, deleted some programs i dont need to free up space, defraged, pc doc found no probs. what else could i try?

Most likely a virus. I had it too. Download AVG it is the only decent virus detection program. I had Spyware DOc, Norton, ETC. and none of them worked but AVG.
